  Kathy Kirkland, MPH, PA-C

Biography
Kathy is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant with a Dual Master’s Degree in Public Health and Health Services. She has been practicing in Cardiology since 2012; but has over 14 years of experience across multiple fields of medicine including Pediatrics, Occupational Health, Urgent Care, Family and Internal Medicine.

Prior to becoming a PA, Kathy had a unique experience in LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) research working directly with Dr. O.H. Frazier and the late Dr. Denton A. Cooley. Those years at The Texas Heart Institute in Houston developed a passion for cardiology and ignited a desire to care for patients.

Kathy is a graduate of Pottsboro High School and returned in 2009 to raise her family in the same community. She is an active member of her local church and community events; and can always be found playing some type of sport with her sons.
